Gochujang Chicken – Slow Cooker (SEOUL BOWL)
Slightly spicy, a bit salty, and all kinds of savory.
Equipment
- 1 Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 450 gram Chicken Breast 450
Sauce
- 30 gram Gochujang
- 20 gram Water
- 2 gram Olive oil
- 3 gram Salt
- 1 gram Black pepper
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1 gram Ground ginger
- 4 gram Honey (Optional!) Some people prefer the sweetness that honey brings to Gochujang dishes. I do not add it to mine. Add additional calories if you do add honey.
After done cooking
- 10 gram Lime juice About half a lime
Instructions
- Place chicken breast in a single layer in the slow cooker.
- Mix all sauce ingredients together.
- Coat the chicken with the sauce using a pastry brush.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 4-6 hours.
- Squeeze over lime juice.
- Serve! Make it a Seoul Bowl, serve over a salad, or with potatoes and steamed vegetables.

Make it a Seoul Bowl by serving it over:
White Rice & Quinoa | Romanesco | Avocado | Cilantro | Pickled Poblano & Red Onion | Snap Peas | Shitake Mushrooms | Sesame Seeds Or make it a roast by:
Adding small golden potatoes in the slow cooker and coat them with the sauce.
