Broccoli Puree

This low-calorie side dish will wow any guests with it’s bright green color!

Broccoli Puree

Broccoli puree is so simple, yet sophisticated. It puree goes well with white fish, salmon, pork, and chicken.

  • 220 gram Broccoli


  • Bring a large pot with water to boil. Add a dash of salt.
  • Chop broccoli into smaller pieces, use the leaves and stems.
  • Add broccoli to the boiling water. Let boil rapidly under a lid for 6-8 minutes.
  • Strain the water, but keep a small amount in case you want to make the puree thinner. 
  • Mash the broccoli to a puree consistency with a blender that tolerates heat,  an immersion blender, or by hand with a potato masher. Add salt and pepper to taste. 
  • Serve with Tabasco and lime juice.
