Cake Batter Ice Cream – Greek Yogurt Base
Ingredients
- 200 gram/ml Skim Milk
- 120 gram Greek Yogurt Plain I prefer 2% fat
- 0.25 tsp Xanthan Gum or Guar Gum
- 1 tsp Cake Batter Flavor 3-4 gram
- Sweeten to Taste
Instructions
- In a blender, food processor, or immersion blender: combine all ingredients except 20 grams/ml of the milk and blend until smooth.
- Transfer the mix to the container.
- Freeze for at least 24 hours.
- When ready, use the light ice cream setting on the Ninja CREAMi machine.
- After the cycle is done, take it out of the container and add the remaining 20 grams/ml of milk.
- Now use the respin setting on the Ninja CREAMi machine.
- Helpful tip: Some people find it becomes creamier if you let the mix sit out at room temperature for 10 minutes before using the machine.
