Chipotle Tofu Sliders for Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 15 ml/gram Soy Sauce
  • 198 gram Tofu extra firm
  • 10 gram Mustard
  • 5 gram Chipotle in adobo 5 ml
  • 0.5 tsp Oregano, dried
  • 0.5 Paprika ground

Instructions
 

  • Press the tofu
  • Slice tofu into thin slices, either lengthwise or crosswise.
  • Mix all ingredients except tofu into a small bowl. Cover tofu slices with the mixture and place in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes.

Oven

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Bake tofu slices in the oven on a parchment covered cookie sheet for 20-30 minutes, flipping once.

Pan-fried

  • Heat up a skillet over medium-high and coat with non-stick spray. Cook tofu slices for 5 minutes on each side.
  • Serve on a sandwich bread topped with your favorite toppings. Such as lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, avocado, onions, sprouts, a Greek yogurt sauce such as Thousand Island or Chipotle Sauce.
