Low Calorie and Low Fat Banana Bread
Inspired by my grandma's recipe
Ingredients
Wet ingredients
- 312 gram Banana – Approx 3 bananas
- 130 gram Non fat greek yogurt
- 99 gram water
- 5 gram Olive oil
- 5 gram/ml Vanilla Extract – same as 1 teaspoon
Dry ingredients
- 120 gram All-Purpose Flour
- 120 gram Sprouted Spelt Flour can be substituted with other flours
- 10 gram Oat Fiber optional
- 10 gram Wheat Bran optional
- 10 gram Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Lightly grease an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan
- Mash bananas with a potato masher or a fork until it has the consistency of applesauce
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Combine all wet ingredients in another bowl
- Gently stir all wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
