Low Calorie Banana Bread

Low Calorie and Low Fat Banana Bread

Inspired by my grandma's recipe

Ingredients
  

Wet ingredients

  • 312 gram Banana – Approx 3 bananas
  • 130 gram Non fat greek yogurt
  • 99 gram water
  • 5 gram Olive oil
  • 5 gram/ml Vanilla Extract – same as 1 teaspoon

Dry ingredients

  • 120 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 120 gram Sprouted Spelt Flour can be substituted with other flours
  • 10 gram Oat Fiber optional
  • 10 gram Wheat Bran optional
  • 10 gram Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
  • Lightly grease an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan
  • Mash bananas with a potato masher or a fork until it has the consistency of applesauce
  • Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Combine all wet ingredients in another bowl
  • Gently stir all wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
