Tofu Burger

Tofu Burger

Add more or change the veggies or add more spice.

  • 133 gram Tofu Extra Firm
  • 36 gram Onion
  • 20 gram Celery
  • 20 gram Red bell pepper
  • 8 gram Cornstarch
  • 6 gram Chipotle Pepper In Adobo Sauce


  • Press the tofu to make sure that you drain all the water from it
  • Chop onion, carrots, chipotle peppers, and bell pepper into small dices
  • Crumble the tofu into a bowl. Mix in the vegetables, cornstarch, and spices
  • Form into two patties, I like to use a 4 oz patty maker for this.
  • Set the patties in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes, it is not necessary but they are easier to handle after they have been chilled

Pan-fry or oven-bake the burger:


    • Cook in a pan on medium-high heat until golden. About 5-6 minutes on each side. 


    • Heat oven to 350 F, place patties on a parchment-covered baking sheet, and bake for 30 minutes. 
    • Serve with your favorite burger toppings.
