Tofu Taco’s
TTT, Tofu Taco Tuesday. Tofu contains all the amino acids your body needs. After a lot of debate and research, heart.org has published that "those eating at least one serving of tofu a week had an 18% lower risk of heart disease compared with those who rarely ate tofu." To get a more taco-like texture, add 30 grams of finely chopped mushroom per serving.
Ingredients
- 200 gram firm tofu
- 30 gram onion
- 60 gram tomato sauce
- 15 gram/ml lime juice
- 5 gram chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon cumin
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Press the tofu
- Crumble tofu and chop onions.
- Finely puree or add chipotle peppers to a mini food processor.
- Add the tofu and the onions to the skillet and let cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add spices, tomato sauce, chipotle peppers, and lime into the skillet. Cook another 2 minutes.
