Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 320 gram Chicken Breast

Flour Mix

  • 10 gram All-Purpose Baking Flour
  • 1 gram Salt approx 0.5 tsp
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika spice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Egg White Mix

  • 33 gram Egg white
  • 3 gram Cornstarch

Breadcrumbs

  • 25 gram Bread Crumbs

Instructions
 

  • If needed preheat your air fryer to 380°F.
  • While the air fryer is preheating prepare the chicken breasts by butterflying them so they are all similar thickness.
  • In three separate shallow bowls or plates set up your breading station. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour and spices.
  • In the second bowl beat the eggs white with cornstarch until frothy.
  • In the third bowl add breadcrumbs.
  • Take one chicken breast and coat it evenly in the flour shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the egg whites, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken thoroughly with the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Place the breaded chicken breast in the preheated air fryer basket.
  • Repeat the breading process with the remaining chicken breasts making sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. You may need to cook the chicken in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Lightly spray the breaded chicken breasts with cooking spray or olive oil spray. This will help them achieve a crispy golden-brown texture.
  • Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 380°F 200°C for 12-18 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the breading is golden brown and crispy.
  • Once cooked remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and tender bite.
