How to volumize your oats for 0 calories

Both oatmeals in the picture are made with only 40 grams of rolled oats and water. The difference is how long they are cooked.

The 231 gram oatmeal is made according to the suggested directions by adding 240 grams (1 cup water) and microwaving for 2-1/2 minutes.

The 405-gram one is made with 380-gram water and then microwaved for 4 -1/2 minutes. Then left in the fridge for 6 hours. It yields more than 150 grams for 0 extra calories.
